newest shows coming up at the moose are Senior Exit Show (bloomsburg art students) from December 30th - Feb 4th!!

Semesters almost over can't believe how fast it has gone! Finals week is around the corner and I'll be gone for a month! Make sure you stop by the moose to shop for artwork or local bakeries goodies

Reception turned out pretty good, met a lot of the artist that I didn't know and the food was very well catered, its always a plus when the show your hosting provides a catered reception with a local BREWERY :). People really enjoyed that part.

BTW this show exhibits until December 26th.

so cindy came up with this amazing idea after I told her MICA's gallery had transparent labels in their gallery! she went and bought some and we used them for the show on Friday...I think they look amazing, it has a real gallery feel too it.

Im glad to say I am apart of this experience at the moose I remember when I first came as a freshmen and it was just beginning to start off. It has come a long way and has many many many more years to go.

forgot to mention that Maryland was an amazing campus, I don't think I will apply their and waste my money though, their program says one thing, and they ask for another, Ill spend my time looking else where. :( makes me sad though because Maryland is close to home and thats what i really wanted.

SRA PE reception is this Friday! 5 to 8pm

finished helping put stuff up for the new show. Cindy and Prof O did an amazing job hanging things, you guys really blew me away with getting a lot done this weekend..only thing left to do is hang a few late pieces, move some pedestals around and of course the best part *LABELS*

taking down the show was a lot easier than putting it up, it was sad to see it come down though, the walls are extremely BARE, cant wait until the new exhibit comes up...

Cover for a Cover show turned out amazing, it feels good to receive so many good feedbacks from people about a show. I guess all the hard work payed off it feels GREAT to be appreciated, The event turned out amazing so many people were their, it was so nice to interact with so many people. I hope this show continues to be a annual event it will be a blast to participate again.

installing for the show was WOW, it was a lot of tension hooks or whatever they are, all I know is that my fingers hurt afterwards. I can still feel the pain from holding the hook and hammering it in, and those things bend soooo easily, after the first 100!! I think I got the hang of it though haha.

I cant wait too see what people think of the exhibition im excited I think it looks amazing, Cindy was a great help

Installing for the show tomorrow, this shall be interesting.

Our next show is Cover for a Cover!! it should be really exciting, its nice to see a small community of people participating in a show thats held universal. It will be nice to see what people come up with.

I took some nice pictures of the Alumni Show, we will eventually have a facebook page so you will be able to view them their in the future. A picture of our main piece that was tagged on the Moose exchange blogger is available to view.

First experience making labels for a show, was quite interesting, I've learned that I suck at cutting with the xacto knife. :)

Planning for the alumni show has begun...sucks that its last minute due to the flood but I think it will be a good show. Some people I know or have heard of in the past. Look forward to working with the past alumni students though. Receptions on the 30th!

really thought we would be back at school by now....this semester is going to be bumpy I see it already.

well the flood wiped out bloomsburg--so much for working on this new show at the moose until I return..

Hope the people in bloomsburg are okay..its my home away from home
